The Job

What You'll Do

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical failures across all plant manufacturing equipment: conveyors, process pallet handling machines, dismantling systems, painting systems, stenciling systems.
• Handle hands on maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of pneumatics, hydraulics, and electric systems throughout the plant.
• Diagnose and fix process hand tools like pneumatic or electric reciprocating saws and nail guns.
• Keep accurate documentation of performance and processes as required by local and regional leadership.
• Schedule work orders within our corporate Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). Execute those orders properly and document everything.
• Sit in on health and safety programs including council or committee meetings. Complete OSHA training plus any corporate mandated training ; including certifications and recertifications.
• Maintain a clean work area. Follow every health and safety policy without shortcuts.

The Schedule & Physical Reality

You'll need flexibility for nights, weekends, holidays ; with on call availability when things come up. Expect to stand or walk on concrete floors for up to 12 hours. Lift up to 75 pounds from time to time (tools around 25 35 lbs carried about 20 feet to the tool area). Negotiate stairs, ladders, tight spaces comfortably. Use fine motor skills like twisting or grasping small objects in hard to reach spots.

What You Need

• Experience: At least one to two years working in an industrial environment ; could be automotive, logistics facilities or similar settings.
• Able to read English, write well enough for documentation tasks.
• Able to read mechanical schematics. Electrical schematic reading is preferred but not required right away if you can learn fast.
• Able to use an electrical multi meter effectively for troubleshooting. Again preferred ; real experience here will put you ahead of other candidates quickly.

$32 - $39 per hour depending directly upon your previous maintenance experience level matched against what our equipment lineup demands day to day here inside these four walls specifically .
