Registered Nurse ; Oasis Program

Clarvida is looking for a Registered Nurse to join the Oasis program here in Orange, CA. This isn't a desk job. You'll be working directly with adults, advocating for their health and coordinating their medical care as part of a treatment team that actually talks to each other. What you'll actually do

• Run comprehensive nursing assessments and gather detailed health histories for each client you work with
• Keep a close eye on how clients respond to psychiatric meds and other prescribed medications
• Flag when someone needs a physician referral, then coordinate that care so nothing falls through the cracks
• Help clients fill out applications for Patient Assistance Program medications ; because affordability matters
• Teach clients how to manage and self administer their own medications
• Talk with clients and their family supports about medical stuff, nutrition, and any health concerns tied to mental health or substance use
• Work alongside other team members ; therapists, counselors, docs ; to make sure care is actually integrated
• Keep clinical documentation current and accurate (the boring but necessary part)
• Stand up for clients' medical and behavioral health needs when it counts
• Follow all program, state, and regulatory standards ; no shortcuts

What you need to bring

• An active Registered Nurse (RN) license ; no exceptions
• At least one year of inpatient or outpatient psychiatric experience (that's preferred, not required)
• A valid Driver's License and a clean Motor Vehicle Record
• A clean Criminal Background Check ; no convictions or credible evidence of abuse, neglect, or sexual exploitation involving children or adults

Pay, schedule, and location

This is a full time position. You'll be working on site in the city of Orange. The pay is $44 to $45 an hour.
