Veterinarian

Hey there. I'm putting out the call for a weekend urgent care vet to join Morgan Pet Clinic in Omaha, NE. We're a community focused small animal practice, and this is a chance to do the fast paced, impactful medicine you enjoy without pulling overnight emergency shifts.

The Role

This is a weekend only position. You'll be handling urgent and same day cases for dogs and cats, which includes wellness visits. The idea is to provide a crucial service for our clients while maintaining a sustainable schedule for you; no overnights.

You'll triage, run diagnostics, and develop treatment plans efficiently. There's opportunity to handle urgent medical and soft tissue surgical cases, based on your comfort level. And you won't be doing it alone; you're supported by a well trained team of technicians and staff who handle appointments and assist so you can focus on practicing good medicine.

What You Bring

A DVM or equivalent from an accredited school is required. You need to be licensed in Nebraska, or eligible to get licensed here pretty quickly.

We need someone comfortable with the pace of urgent care. That means you can make decisions efficiently without sacrificing care. You're also the type who works seamlessly with a team; this isn't a solo operation. Clear communication isn't just a nice to have, it's how we operate day to day with clients and each other.
