About This Role

The job in a nutshell

We're looking for a Radiology Technologist to work at Mercy in Oklahoma City, OK. This isn't an entry level gig where someone holds your hand through every step. You'll get the job done solo ; running radiographic procedures without constant oversight ; but you're never on an island. You own your work, you know your stuff, and you're comfortable handling the details from start to finish.

What you'll actually do

  • Perform radiographic procedures at a technical level where you're trusted to work independently.
  • Take full responsibility for every procedure you perform.
  • Handle any related duties that come up as assigned.

What you need to bring

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program, plus completed clinical hours.
  • State licensure might be required depending on the specific state you practice in. If you're working in Arkansas, you need a Radiologic Technologist License.
  • ARRT registry or registry eligible ; you'll need to achieve full registry within 6 months of hire (or within 1 year if you're in Arkansas).
  • Real experience that proves you have the capability to do this job well.

Skills that matter here

  • Solid technical skill in radiologic procedures, not just textbook knowledge.
  • You understand basic anatomy and how it looks on a radiograph.
  • You can handle the equipment ; manipulating x ray machines, mobile units, processors, and computers.
  • You're comfortable evaluating radiographs and adjusting exposure factors on the fly.
  • Lifting, moving, and transporting patients is part of this work. So is standing and walking most of the shift.
  • You can recognize an emergency situation and stay calm under pressure.
  • You communicate effectively with patients, nurses, and docs.

Why Mercy

From day one, the benefits are solid. If you work 32+ hours per pay period, you get medical, dental, and vision coverage, paid time off, tuition support, and a matched retirement plan. This is a team where your opinion actually gets heard ; not just tolerated. You'll be part of shaping how healthcare works around here, and as Mercy grows, your career grows with it.

How to apply

Send in your application through JobXi. Make sure your resume reflects your education, certifications, and any relevant experience. If you're ARRT eligible, mention your timeline for getting registered. We'll reach out to qualified candidates directly.
