Duties & Responsibilities
- Translate business questions into analytical plans, pulling data using SQL and building dashboards.
- Run A/B tests from hypothesis to final recommendation, clearly explaining what won and why it matters.
- Create regular reports on core product metrics, spotting trends that others might miss.
- Partner with product managers and engineers to size opportunities and forecast the impact of new features.
- Present findings in a way that's actionable, whether it's a quick Slack summary or a deep dive presentation.
Requirements
- You need hands on experience with SQL for data extraction; this isn't a theoretical role.
- A solid grasp of basic statistics is required for analyzing experiments and user segments.
- Experience with a visualization tool like Tableau, Looker, or Mode is expected.
- Most candidates have 1 3 years in an analyst role, preferably supporting a digital product or feature team.
- The work involves sustained focus while interpreting complex datasets; it’s mentally engaging but can be demanding.
