Nanny / Babysitter

What this role is about

We need a nanny to support our family starting April 6th ; though the start date is flexible if that doesn't work exactly. You'd be looking after one infant during weekday evenings. That means feeding, changing, and putting the child to sleep, plus keeping things safe and comforting for them.

There's also some light housekeeping tied to the child's needs. Nothing major, just whatever comes up with their care.

What you'll actually do

• Feed the infant according to their schedule
• Change diapers and handle all basic care tasks
• Settle the child down for sleep each evening
• Tidy up anything related to the baby's needs ; bottles, laundry, toys, that sort of thing
• Keep a close eye on safety and comfort at all times
• Engage with the infant in an attentive, responsible way; they need someone who'll really be present with them

What you need to bring

• A reliable way to get here ; transportation is essential since it's weekday evenings in Oklahoma City, OK
• A responsible and attentive approach; we want someone who genuinely cares about how they interact with our little one
• The ability to engage an infant positively while still getting them fed, changed, and down to sleep on time
• Previous experience with infants isn't listed as required by us specifically, but you should be comfortable handling a baby solo for several hours each evening

The position runs on weekday evenings so your schedule would need to accommodate that consistently.
