- Troubleshoot problems and make repairs on the spot.
- You'll handle preventative maintenance to stop issues before they start.
- Overhauling old equipment and helping install new machines is part of the job.
- Sometimes that means rebuilding or even fabricating parts yourself.
- We need you to set up production lines and manage equipment change overs.
- Keeping your work area clean and safe is non negotiable.
- You'll generate parts requests to manage inventory and complete assigned work orders.
The schedule & pay
This is a full time night position. The hours are Monday through Friday, 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM.
The starting pay is between $21.95 and $28.99 an hour. Where you land depends on your experience. On top of that, there are ways to earn more through performance incentives, quarterly bonuses, and referral bonuses. Benefits are included, too.
Your background
We're looking for practical experience above all else. Here’s what matters:
- A high school diploma or equivalent is good to have, but it's not a strict requirement if the experience is there.
- You need anywhere from 0 to 5 years in industrial maintenance.
- If you've got at least one year focused on mechanical or electrical work, that's a big plus.
- Experience with diagnostic troubleshooting and preventative maintenance is preferred.
- You should have worked in a high speed industrial setting before.
- A natural mechanical and technical aptitude is essential; you need to be able to follow manufacturer specs and schematics.
- Basic computer skills are necessary for the administrative parts of the job.
- A little knowledge of Programmable Logic Controls (PLC) would be helpful but isn't mandatory starting out.
