About This Role

The Role in Plain Terms

CF Industries is looking for a Manager of Human Resources to join the site leadership team in Oklahoma City, OK. This is a safety sensitive role that works onsite, and it's not a remote or hybrid position. You'd be the HR person who helps keep the plant running well by focusing on the people side of operations.

What You'll Actually Do

  • Work directly with senior management to build HR strategies that connect to the broader business goals.
  • Advise and coach managers, supervisors, and professional employees on all things HR.
  • Make sure the site has the right people in the right roles to meet current needs.
  • Design and run talent acquisition strategies that bring in people who can do the job now and grow within the company later.
  • Communicate site and corporate objectives so employees understand how their work fits into the bigger picture.
  • Set up and deliver orientation and training programs to prep employees for their assignments.
  • Check in on the site culture periodically to keep it aligned with company goals.
  • Keep all organizational structure info current and make sure everyone knows it.
  • Execute corporate wide initiatives around talent acquisition, talent management, inclusion, and engagement.
  • Stay on top of federal and state HR regulations; conduct training, investigations, and maintain records. You'd represent CF at hearings if needed.
  • Manage the time and attendance system, the applicant tracking system, and HRIS data for the site.
  • Act as CF's representative in the local community, building trust with external and internal partners.

What You Need to Bring

  • A BS or BA degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
  • At least 7 years of experience in HR, ideally in a manufacturing environment.
  • Real skill in employee relations, benefits, time and attendance systems, wellness events, and recruiting.
  • Comfort with computers in a Windows setting and solid experience with Microsoft Office ; Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work as a site leader, not just an HR person.
  • Strong written and verbal communication. You'll write both informal notes and formal project documents.
  • Presentation skills that let you clearly and concisely communicate ideas to management.

There's base pay plus an incentive program for all full time employees.
