Requirements

  • A current, unrestricted RN license and CRNA certification from the NBCRNA.
  • Graduation from an accredited nurse anesthesia educational program is mandatory.
  • You need recent hands on experience in a hospital or surgical center environment.
  • The role demands prolonged standing, mental focus for extended periods, and the ability to make rapid decisions under pressure.
  • Credentialing often requires ACLS and PALS certifications as well.
