Registered Nurse

About This Role

Alright, let's talk about this nursing role at Brightview in Norwalk, CT. I've been placing people here for a while, and they're serious about building a good team. This isn't just passing meds; it's about leading the care for a whole community. If you're the kind of nurse who sees the person first and the chart second, you should read this.

What you'll do here

You're the heart of the health services team on your shift. Your main job is to know the residents, really know them, so you can spot when something's off.

  • Provide personal care services and support with a warm, engaging approach.
  • Check on resident wellbeing constantly and communicate any changes in condition or Care Plan needs.
  • Complete resident assessments at state or Brightview specified intervals, working closely with the Health Services Director.
  • You'll adjust daily assignments for Resident Assistants, Med Techs, and other Nurses on your shift.
  • It's about collaboration and inspiration for your team as much as it is about clinical skill.

What you need to bring

They're looking for a specific blend of experience and attitude. Here's the non negotiable list from their end.

  • A Registered Nurse license issued by the state.
  • A graduate of a state approved school of nursing.
  • At least two years of experience in a care setting. That could be assisted living, hospice, home health, acute care, or long term care.
  • A genuinely positive attitude. You have to love working with people; residents and staff alike.

Schedule & Pay

The pay range for this position is $37.25 to $42.75 per hour. That's the base salary they're working with.

The final offer will look at your specific experience, qualifications, certifications, and training. They review these ranges regularly too, so there's room for movement over time. This stated range doesn't include potential bonuses or incentives, nor does it factor in the full value of their benefits package.

The Brightview pitch (in their words)

They asked me to pass this part along directly about why you'd want to work there:

  • They say they're dedicated to excellence and lead with a passion for top notch services and "groundbreaking" care.
  • They talk about a supportive environment that focuses on your professional growth and advancement.
  • The work is meant to be impactful, making a real difference in seniors' lives daily.
  • The benefits package includes health, vision, and dental insurance options; retirement plans; tuition reimbursement; employee assistance programs; and others aimed at your well being.
  • They emphasize being a place to flourish that embraces diversity and innovation.
