• Handle biopsies for suspicious lesions in the mouth or jaw; you'll be the one calling the pathologist afterward.
• Counsel patients on post op care, pain management, and recovery timelines without sugarcoating it.

Requirements

A DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental program is mandatory. So is completion of an oral and maxillofacial surgery residency; no exceptions there.
