Senior Software Engineer

Hey, it's Doug. We're helping a client in Manhattan fill a senior engineering role on an urgent basis. It's a Series A healthcare startup using AI to audit patient visits for compliance. They're building something pretty interesting.

The Work

You'll be building and scaling their core data intensive applications. That means writing a lot of Python and TypeScript, working with PostgreSQL, and managing things on AWS. The whole system is focused on processing and analyzing healthcare data to meet clinical and payer requirements.

It's a hands on technical role where you'll have real ownership from day one.

What You Need

• A solid 4+ years as a Software Engineer under your belt.
• Deep, practical expertise in Python, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, and AWS infrastructure.
• A background in building data heavy applications that need to scale.
• This one's non negotiable: strong experience working at a VC backed startup. You know the pace, the ambiguity, and the impact required.
• A master’s degree would be a bonus, but it isn't mandatory.

If you've worked in healthcare or life sciences before, that's a definite plus. But it's not required; they're happy to bring smart engineers up to speed on the domain.

• The salary range is $190,000 to $300,000 per year.
