Registered Nurse

Hey, it's me again. We're looking for a Registered Nurse to step into a Unit Manager role at Triboro Center in New York, NY. This is about running the show on a unit, not just passing meds. You'd be the one making sure things run right, that your team has what they need, and that our residents feel supported. It's a big job, but if you've got solid LTC experience and you're ready to lead, I want to hear from you.

What You'll Be Doing

You're in charge of the unit. That means a lot of moving parts.

• You'll write and update nursing policies and procedures to keep our guidelines current.
• Scheduling nurses and staff to meet all resident care needs is on your plate.
• A big part of this is creating a supportive environment for residents and their families.
• You're the main source of information for both residents and the healthcare team.
• Keeping the work environment safe and clean is non negotiable.
• We trust you to handle confidential information with total discretion.
• Overseeing documentation for all resident care services is key.
• Managing the nursing supplies inventory falls to you.
• And you'll be the link that maintains a cooperative relationship across the entire health care team.

What You Need to Bring

Let's be straight about what's required.

• A valid New York State RN license is mandatory.
• You must have previous Long Term Care experience; it's required for this position.
• Basic computer skills are necessary for documentation and communication.
• Your communication skills need to be excellent; with staff, families, and residents.

The Details & What We Offer

The salary range for this role is $105,000 to $115,000 per year. And yes, there's a sign on bonus: we're offering $5,000 for this position.
