The Job
St. Patrick's Home Rehabilitation and Health Care needs a Licensed Practical Nurse for their skilled nursing facility in New York, NY. This is a real opportunity at a place that's been around since 1931, backed by the Carmelite Sisters.
Schedule and Pay
You've got two shift options here: 3PM to 11PM or 11PM to 7AM. Evening and overnight shifts come with a 10% differential. They also offer Daily Pay through a third party provider, so you're not waiting two weeks to see your money.
What You'll Actually Do
- Collect required information when new Residents are admitted
- Record health details like vitals and temperature
- Administer medications and injections as needed
- Treat and dress wounds and bedsores
- Supervise Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs); that's part of the role
- Help Residents get dressed and take care of personal hygiene
- Monitor food and liquid intake and output
What You Need
- A valid New York State LPN license
- Good standing with the State Registry
- The ability to work as a team member ; this isn't a solo gig
