About This Role
Let's talk about the work
You're a teacher at Success Academy. That means you're in a classroom with 20 or more students, working directly with them every day. We give you the curriculum and the training, so you can focus on your kids instead of building lessons from scratch.
Your job is to put that training into practice. You'll build strong relationships with students and their families. You'll learn to look at student data, figure out what it means for their growth, and adjust how you teach because of it. There's constant problem solving, in the classroom and out.
And you won't be doing it alone. You get coaching and targeted feedback from school leaders to help you improve. The goal is to develop serious leadership skills fast. Many teachers grow to lead their entire grade team. There are paths to become an assistant principal or move into roles at our network office.
What you need to bring
First, a bachelor's degree before your first day here. Your major should be something rigorous and relevant; think biology, history, chemistry, economics, physics, English, math, or engineering.
A teaching certificate or background in education? Not required.
