What we're offering
There's a $5,000 sign on bonus attached to this role. And through a trusted third party provider, Daily Pay is available ; so you can access your earnings faster if that matters to you. The salary range here is $105,000 to $115,000.
The job itself
This is for a Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Manager at our skilled nursing facility in New York, NY. You'd be running the day to day nursing operations on your unit.
- Keeping nursing guidelines current by writing and updating policies and procedures
- Scheduling and assigning nurses and staff to meet resident care requirements
- Creating a compassionate environment through support for residents and their families
- Sharing information with residents and the broader health care team
- Maintaining a safe, clean working environment at all times
- Monitoring confidential information processing to preserve resident confidence
- Documenting all resident care services thoroughly
- Managing the nursing supplies inventory so nothing runs short
- Fostering cooperative relationships across all health care teams on the unit
What you'll need to bring
A valid NYS RN License is non negotiable ; you won't get far without one. Previous long term care experience is also required. Outside of that, basic computer skills and solid communication abilities round out what we're looking for.
