The Opportunity

An Am100 law firm is adding a Senior Public Relations Manager in New York, NY. This isn't a small shop ; this is a top tier firm with real growth opportunities and a culture that actually values people. They're looking for someone who's been there and done that in the Am200 space specifically.

What You'll Be Doing

You'll own the strategic development, implementation, analysis, and execution of high impact public relations plans for the firm. No two days will look the same because you'll shape how the firm tells its story to the world.

• Build and drive comprehensive PR strategies from the ground up
• Analyze results and adjust tactics based on real data and marketplace trends
• Manage budgets and make sure every dollar drives a cost effective outcome
• Use media tracking systems like Meltwater and Trendkite to monitor coverage and impact
• Create presentations that land ; you'll present to internal stakeholders and leadership
• Collaborate across departments using Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and Google Suite

What You Need to Bring

This role isn't for someone still learning the ropes. You've logged serious hours in PR and you know the law firm world inside and out.

• Bachelor's degree in Communication, English, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field
• 10+ years of Public Relations experience ; either in house at a private firm or at an agency
• Must have previous experience at an Am200 law firm. Period.
• Managerial experience ; you've led people, projects, or both
• A sharp eye for marketplace trends and how they affect PR strategy
• Experience managing budgets and finding cost effective approaches
• Hands on familiarity with Meltwater, Trendkite, Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), SharePoint, and Google Suite
• Strong presentation skills ; you can stand up and deliver

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this role is $175,000 to $200,000 per year. On top of that, the firm offers a benefits package that covers the important stuff.
