
About This Role
Alright, let's talk about this one. We're a 100% employee owned general contractor based in Englewood, and we're looking for someone to manage our K 12 and municipal projects here in Colorado. If you've been running construction jobs for at least five years, especially in those sectors, I want to hear from you.
What the job is
You'll be the one steering the ship on commercial construction projects from start to finish. That means you're accountable for getting it done on time and on budget.
- Overseeing and directing K 12 and municipal construction projects is the core of the role.
- You'll manage the project engineer and support the project superintendent.
- A big part of your day is reviewing work progress; you need to know exactly where things stand.
- The budgeting, scheduling, and cost control processes fall under your management.
- Handling RFIs, submittals, and change orders effectively is non negotiable.
- You have to read and understand all project drawings and specifications thoroughly.
- Maintaining a complete understanding of every contract document; plans, specs, addenda; is essential.
What you need to bring
A bachelor's degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or a related field is required. And you need real world experience to match.
- A minimum of 5 years in project management within construction.
- Proven experience specifically managing K 12 or municipal construction projects.
- A solid understanding of every phase of the construction process.
- Familiarity with standard construction management software packages helps everything run smoother.
- The ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications accurately.
- Strong, practical knowledge in budgeting, quality control, scheduling, cost control, RFIs, submittals, and change orders.

The pay range for this position is $100,000 to $140,000 per year. The role is based in New York, NY working on Colorado based projects.
