Team Lead

Alright, let's talk about this Team Lead role in New Orleans, LA. It's not a desk job. You're the person on the ground, in the stores, making sure things look right and run smoothly. What you'll do

• Cultivate relationships with the management at each store you cover.
• Lead the execution of merchandising resets; that means building retail displays and setting up product on clip strips and J hooks.
• You're the go to for training and re training both new and current merchandisers in your assigned area.
• Your day involves conducting surveys and audits to track what's working.
• A big part of the job is providing support: troubleshooting issues and offering ongoing guidance to your team of merchandisers.
• You'll work closely with the Territory Manager to support everyone and find opportunities to increase volume and sales.

What we need from you

• You need to live within 20 miles of Washington DC, Germantown, MD, or Bethesda, MD. You've got to be able to travel throughout your assigned territory.
• We're looking for a self starter who learns quickly. Experience as a lead or supervisor is a big plus.
• You should be comfortable in environments that change; no two stores or days are exactly alike.
• Strong organizational skills are non negotiable. You have to schedule your own time efficiently.
• Communication is key here. You need to be able to build solid relationships with business partners.
• The physical side is important: you'll be on your feet walking and standing for 3 8 hours at a time, lifting up to 50 lbs, crouching, bending, twisting, and doing repetitive hand movements. We provide reasonable accommodations where needed.
