What you’ll actually do

• Keep residents’ rooms and work areas clean and safe
• Help residents maintain their independence while promoting their dignity and physical safety
• Assist residents with activities of daily living ; bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming, ambulation, transferring, and eating ; exactly as instructed
• Engage residents in life skills and enrichment activities that make their day feel meaningful
• Provide hands on care and both physical and emotional support, maintaining a home like environment

What you need to bring

• A Certified Nurse’s Aide certification is preferred but not required
• High school diploma or GED
• You must be at least 18 years old
• Previous experience working with seniors is preferred
• You can communicate effectively with residents, management, and co workers
• You bring superior customer service skills
• You handle multiple priorities without dropping the ball
• You show good judgment, problem solving, and decision making skills in your work
