Clinical Support Specialist

Alright, let's talk about this role. It's a big one.

We need someone to lead the clinical directors across our centers in New Orleans, LA. You're not just managing from an office; you're accountable for how those centers perform, their financial health, their growth, and the culture inside them. A chunk of your time; we're talking around 20%; is still spent seeing patients as a Primary Care Provider. The rest is leadership: coaching your directors, building a strong team, and making sure our clinical and operational sides work together seamlessly. How that time splits exactly depends on what the market needs right now.

What You'll Be Doing

• You have direct accountability for clinical outcomes and the day to day management of the Medical Directors in your market. That means you're in those centers regularly.
• Managing, mentoring, and coaching those directors to deliver outstanding patient results is core to the job.
• A big part of this is developing talent. You'll lead facilitated practice sessions like physician shadowing, conduct regular one on ones with your direct reports, and handle performance management.
• Cultivating a physician culture at each center that truly lives our core model and values is non negotiable.
• You'll assist our Clinical Center of Excellence with training new practitioners in your area.
• We'll lean on you to participate in recruiting and interviewing candidates for PCP and specialist roles.
• Building successful relationships is key. You'll work on connections with payers, specialists, community groups, and hospitals, and help drive a local social media presence.
• You monitor the overall market culture and address workplace concerns with urgency.
• The role includes reviewing and approving center level referrals and providing backup for market referral authorizations.

The Skills & Experience You Bring

• Excellent clinical skills are the foundation here.
• You need knowledge and hands on experience within a managed care delivery system.
• A solid understanding of clinical outcomes data and quality improvement processes is required.
• We're looking for experience in population risk management or complex chronic disease care management.
• A history of being a natural teacher to other physicians will serve you well here.
