The Role

TriStar Southern Hills Medical Center needs an Inpatient Rehab Clinical Nurse Coordinator in Nashville, TN. This role sits at the intersection of med surg nursing and life changing patient progress. You'll work with complex patients who need your clinical skills, but you'll also get to see them hit real milestones as they recover. It's a slower pace than the revolving door of a med surg floor, but the acuity stays sharp. You'll collaborate daily with PT, OT, and Speech teams to push patient recovery forward. What You'll Actually Do

• Assess, plan, and evaluate each patient's care needs, then carry out physician orders.
• Administer medications, change dressings, clean wounds, and monitor vital signs.
• Track and communicate patient condition using computerized documentation systems.
• Instruct and educate patients and their families as part of a Multidisciplinary Care Planning team.
• Participate in performance improvement activities to keep care standards high.
• Maintain a safe, therapeutic environment while using therapeutic communication every day.
• Plan individualized care using an interdisciplinary approach, identifying nursing problems as they relate to each patient's needs.

What You Need

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing (Registered Nurse).
• Current registered nurse license with the Tennessee Board of Nursing.
• Current BLS certification.
• ACLS certification within 6 months of hire.
• One year of clinical nursing experience is preferred, not required.
