TriStar Summit Medical Center is the only hospital in Tennessee with the Pathway to Excellence designation from the American Nurses Credentialing Center. We're part of HCA Healthcare, and we're looking for an OR RN for our Acute Trauma Surgical team in Nashville, TN.

The Role

You'll be delivering high quality, patient centered care in our surgical department. It's about collaboration with providers and the whole care team to give personalized, compassionate treatment. You'll follow nursing models like "Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage," and you'll be an advocate for your patients and their families every step of the way.

• Assess each patient on admission and every shift, watching closely for any changes in their condition.
• Perform procedures and monitoring as ordered, making sure everything is documented clearly and on time.
• Your responsibilities include administering medications and monitoring how patients respond to them.
• A big part of this job is responding to needs proactively and providing exceptional, attentive care.
• You'll educate patients and their families about conditions, treatment plans, and medications in a way they can truly understand.

What You Need

• A current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• A Basic Cardiac Life Support or CPR certification; you need to get this within your first 30 days if you don't have it already.
• Either a Bachelor's Degree or an Associate Degree in Nursing.
