TriStar Skyline Medical Center needs a Nurse Manager for their Neurovascular ICU. You'd oversee the daily operations of the unit, making sure patients get high quality care and the staff has what they need. What you'll actually do

Help build a strong clinical reputation by using evidence based practices that improve patient safety and outcomes, while making sure care meets standards.
Understand how patients of different ages grow and develop, and use that knowledge to guide assessment, treatment, and care.
Handle all staffing and personnel work: interviewing, hiring, training new people.
Oversee patient care on the unit, giving staff consistent support and your expertise.
Follow unit specific standards of care, shown by completing a competency skills checklist.
Keep the unit running smoothly by making sure staffing levels are right.
Manage and coordinate all unit activities, including safety procedures, unit goals, and department operations.
Handle complaints from patients, visitors, or doctors promptly and professionally.
Provide leadership, coaching, and counseling to your team.
Work with other departments and disciplines to improve how patient care is delivered.

What you need to bring

An Associate's Degree in Nursing or an RN Diploma. A Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is preferred but not required.
A current RN license in Tennessee or a compact state.
At least 1 year of related clinical leadership experience.
Current BLS and ACLS certifications.

TriStar Skyline Medical Center is a 350+ bed hospital. It's Tennessee's first comprehensive stroke center and a national leader in neuroscience. The facility has 3 helipads, new ICU and Medical/Surgical floors, and burn care services. There's a CARF accredited Inpatient Rehabilitation program, and it's a state designated Level I Trauma Center. It's also an Accredited Chest Pain Center with PCI, so you'd be working with a major provider of emergency heart care.
