Merchandiser

Alright, let's talk about this job. It's a merchandiser role with SAS Retail Services in Nashville, TN. You'd be the person in the store making sure products look good and are in the right place.

What you'd do

Your main focus is on the store itself. You're there to help maximize sales for both the store and the suppliers.

• Build displays and set up end caps.
• Reset shelves, which includes rotating product so older stock sells first.
• Track inventory levels while you're working.

The schedule and pay

This one's pretty straightforward. The pay is $17.87 per hour. You won't be asked to work nights, weekends, or holidays. It's a daytime gig. If you want more hours down the line, you can ask; sometimes they're available.

What we're looking for

You don't need any prior experience for this. We'll train you and you'll have team support. But there are a few things you've gotta have or be okay with.

• You must be 18 or older.
• The work is physical. You'll be moving, bending, standing, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
• You need reliable transportation to get yourself to and from the work location every day.
• A friendly, enthusiastic way of dealing with customers and store management goes a long way.
• The ability to work well on your own initiative is important, but so is being a good teammate when needed.
• A focus on safety in the retail environment is non negotiable.
