
About This Role
Nalco Water, part of Ecolab, needs a Field Technician in Montgomery, AL. This isn't your average service job. You'll be the on site expert for air and water quality systems inside an automotive paint booth, working autonomously with your hands and your head.
What you'll do
The work is hands on and technical. You're the eyes and ears for the customer's systems.
- Run daily quality analysis on process applications, which involves using small, intricate parts.
- Provide both routine service and special application support directly to the customer.
- Perform all required chemistry tests, then log and report that data accurately.
- Keep product inventories stocked and organized.
- Troubleshoot equipment and maintain systems when something isn't right.
- Use tools like a Fluke meter to check sensitivity and operate a test stand to verify for air or fluid leaks.
The schedule & pay
This is a full time position on a night shift. You'd work from 5 PM to 5 AM, Sunday through Wednesday. The starting pay is $22 per hour. The annual compensation range for this role is between $42,000 and $63,000; the final offer depends on your experience, training, and other factors.
What you need (the must haves)
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- You have to be at least 18 years old and authorized to work in the U.S.
- Some practical experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.).
- The physical ability to do this job: lifting, stooping, kneeling, reaching, balancing, walking, standing. You need to talk and hear clearly on site.
- Able to wear a respirator when conditions require it.
- You must be able to pass a pre employment drug screen.
