What you'd be doing

You'd be the direct nursing lead for all residents on your assigned neighborhood or program. That means overseeing everything from physician orders to med passes and treatments. You'll verify orders are transcribed correctly into our electronic system and carried out.

A big part of this is people leadership. You'll provide hands on training for new clinical hires, do skill retraining as needed, and supervise both clinical and non clinical team members on your shift.

You're a key part of the interdisciplinary team, planning and evaluating resident care. Documentation is crucial; you need to chart conditions, needs, and observations accurately and in a timely way.

You'll coordinate admissions, discharges, and transfers. When a new resident comes in, you'll handle the initial assessment, verify orders with the physician, and get everything set up with pharmacy and lab.

And at the end of your shift, giving a thorough report to the next nurse is how we ensure care continues seamlessly.

The essentials you need

A current Registered Nurse license and any other state required licensure.
One year of nursing experience in a long term care facility is preferred.
