About This Role

What This Role Looks Like

Dr. Wolf's office in Minneapolis, MN is a small, privately owned practice. You won't find corporate vibes or rushed appointments here. It's all about comprehensive, quality dentistry and real connections with patients who feel like family.

Right now the schedule is Thursdays only. But as the practice gets busier ; which it will ; there's room to add more days. So you're starting part time with growth potential built in.

The Day to Day

  • You'll assist with general dentistry procedures: restorative work, crown and bridge, extractions, and endo.
  • You'll work closely with one other assistant ; swapping rooms, backing each other up, keeping things flowing without any hiccups.
  • Supply inventory and ordering falls on you. Running out of etch isn't an option.
  • You'll help with treatment planning and patient coordination when needed.
  • Lab cases are your responsibility too. You make sure everything stays on schedule.
  • Through it all, patient comfort is the priority. A positive attitude goes a long way here.

What You Need to Bring

  • At least 2 years of dental assisting experience under your belt.
  • A valid X ray license ; that's non negotiable.
  • Comfort working alongside experienced doctors who know their stuff. The pace is busy but friendly; you'll need to keep up without getting frazzled.
  • A solid handle on chairside procedures, sterilization protocols, inventory management, and lab coordination.
  • A genuine passion for doing good dentistry and taking care of people.

The Details That Matter

The pay range is $25 to $28 an hour depending on experience. Benefits include dental coverage, a 401k plan, and paid time off.

A Little About Who Fits Here

The team values trust, humor, and mutual support. There's no room for ego or drama. If you're dependable, easygoing, adaptable ; someone who takes ownership of their role without needing hand holding ; you'll probably love it here. And because the practice has a new doctor coming in soon? There's room for someone to step up into more responsibility as things evolve. Growth isn't just possible; it's encouraged.
