Automotive Sales

Alright, let's talk about selling cars. Not the old school, high pressure kind of selling. We're talking about guiding people through one of their bigger purchases, building a book of business, and doing it with a schedule that actually gives you a life.

I'm hiring for an Automotive Sales role at our Minneapolis, MN store. This is the core of what we do. You're the person who connects a customer to the right vehicle and makes sure they understand everything that comes with it.

What you'll be doing

• Hit the unit sales average your store requires.
• Meet minimum targets for profit per vehicle retailed (PVR) and vehicle service contracts (VSC).
• Your first job is to greet everyone who comes in, and do it courteously.
• You'll guide customers from hello to driving off the lot, managing the whole process.
• Our CRM tool is your best friend for tracking every conversation and follow up.
• It's on you to explain the benefits of buying from Walser.
• Take solid test drives; make sure the customer feels comfortable with the features.
• Walk people through financing options and the value of our protection products.
• The job isn't done at delivery. You need to follow up after the purchase.
• Safety gear is non negotiable in service areas: safety eyewear always, hard toed and slip resistant shoes required.
• And yeah, there will be other tasks as they come up. That's just how it works.

What you need to bring

• You must be 18 or older.
• A Bachelor's degree is a strong plus, but it isn't a dealbreaker if you don't have one.
• You have to successfully complete and test out of our sales training program.
• Listen more than you talk. Have decent phone and computer skills.
• You need to communicate clearly, both in person and in writing.
• A friendly, positive attitude matters. We work as a team here.
• Look professional; nametag, uniform, the whole deal.
• A mindset geared toward taking care of customers is essential.
• A valid driver's license with an acceptable record is required.
