
About This Role
Alright, let's talk about this job. I'm looking for a Multi Modality Technologist to join the team at the Ascension St. Agnes Imaging Center in Milwaukee, WI. It's an outpatient spot called Seton Imaging.
The Work
You'll be doing high quality diagnostic imaging. That means getting patients positioned right and calibrating the equipment so the doctors get the clear pictures they need.
Safety is a big part of it. You'll be the one making sure radiation protection standards are followed to the letter, keeping everyone safe.
Sometimes you'll work directly with physicians during special procedures. Your technical know how will be key for those more complex cases.
After you get the images, you're responsible for getting them into the PACS system correctly and completely. No errors, no delays for clinical review.
And you'll keep your procedure rooms and equipment ready. It's about maintaining a clean, safe, and prepared environment for every patient who comes through.
The Schedule & Pay
This is a full time day shift position. The pay range is $42.44 to $59.14 per hour.
There's also a sign on bonus available, up to $7,500.
What You Need to Have
- A BLS Provider certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross. You need to get this within 1 month (30 days) of starting.
- One or more of these credentials, obtained before your hire or transfer date:
- A Radiologic Technologist (Radiography) credential from ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists). All specialties are accepted.
- A General Radiography certification through ARRT is also required separately.
- A Medical Sonographer credential from ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography). Certification from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) is also okay.
- A State Radiology Technologist license issued by the Maryland Board of Physicians.
Education & Experience Paths
You can qualify one of three ways:
- A High School diploma equivalency plus 2 years of cumulative experience, OR
- An Associate's degree or Technical degree, OR
- 4 years of applicable, cumulative job specific experience.
A Strong Preference
For this multi functional role, having an advanced imaging certification in either Computed Tomography (CT) or Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) is essential. They really want someone who can do more than one thing.
