Parts Specialist

What You Will Do

This is a full time Counter Sales and Parts Specialist role at our Miami, FL branch of MT Pool Distributors Inc. You will take orders at the sales counter using our company computer system, and interact with customers in person, over the phone, and by email. The job also involves warehouse tasks: stocking shelves, shipping products, order picking, staging, replenishment, and loading or unloading delivery trucks. You will create sales orders and quotes, helping customers estimate project costs and material quantities from their measurements. You will also schedule truck deliveries, assist with inventory cycle counts, and keep the work area clean. Other duties come up as needed; it's a role where you wear a few different hats during the week.

Your Schedule

Monday through Friday. During the busy season, overtime is available.

What You Need to Bring

• Basic computer knowledge and comfort using the internet
• Comfort lifting 75 lbs, and 50 lbs on a repetitive basis
• Pass a pre employment drug test
• Forklift experience is helpful but not required
• Bilingual English and Spanish is preferred, but not required
• Experience with irrigation or landscaping products is helpful, but not required

• Clear communication ; explaining how products are priced and sold, and which product is right for a customer's application
• Honesty, courtesy, and respect toward both customers and coworkers
• Ability to communicate with your manager, employees, and clients clearly and directly
• You will learn the product line over time, so a willingness to learn is important
• You'll inform management about products or special order materials that customers need

Compensation

Pay is weekly. Discretionary bonuses are available. You also get an Employee Stock Purchase Plan, and a 401(k) with company match.
