MRI Technologist

The Job

HCA Florida Mercy Hospital is hiring an MRI Technologist. This role comes with a possible sign on bonus. You'd be providing MR imaging to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients here in Miami, FL, following the specific guidelines that come with this kind of work.

What You'll Actually Do

• Perform MRI scans on adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients according to established protocols.
• Operate imaging equipment safely and effectively within the scope of your training.
• Work collaboratively with the radiology team and other departments across the hospital.
• Document procedures accurately in the patient's medical record.
• Follow all safety and infection control guidelines, especially around magnetic fields and contrast agents.

What You Need

• An Associate Degree or Certificate from an accredited radiography program.
• A current ARRT certification in Radiography (ARRT R). You'll also need to get your ARRT certification in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (ARRT MR) within 6 months of starting.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of hire. We can help you schedule that if needed.
• Experience working with a range of patient populations ; adolescents through geriatrics ; is a real plus here.
