Industrial Maintenance Technician

The Parking Spot runs the biggest near airport parking network in the U.S. ; over 40 locations, more than 2,000 people. They're looking for an Industrial Maintenance Technician in Miami, FL to keep their facilities clean, safe, and running right. It's $21.91 an hour plus tips and regular bonus chances. What You'll Actually Do

• Sweep, mop, and clean all lobbies and offices daily. Walk the whole facility every day.
• Empty every trash can and pick up loose trash around the property. Keep it clean.
• Check safety items like shuttles, gate arms, and lot security equipment. Report anything that needs repair to the Facility Manager.
• Tell the Facility Manager right away if you see anything unsafe, any policy violations, or anything unusual.
• Work with other team members to give guests the best service possible.
• Help out in other departments when needed ; especially during slow times.
• Keep an inventory of maintenance supplies and order more when you're running low.
• You should have general knowledge of shuttle maintenance repairs, utility rooms, and revenue control equipment.
• Management might ask you to cross train for other frontline positions.
• Do any other reasonable tasks management requests.

What You Need

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Some previous housecleaning or general maintenance experience.
• A valid driver's license.
• You need to read and speak English well enough to talk with the public, understand highway signs, respond to official questions, and fill out reports ; that's a DOT rule.
• Supervisory experience is a plus, but not required.
• You can safely lift up to 50 pounds regularly (with or without accommodation).
• You're fine working in all kinds of weather.

Schedule & Pay

It's a maintenance role with all shifts available and on call duties. You'll earn $21.91 per hour, plus tips (both cash and mobile), and there are regular bonus opportunities for eligible people.
