What You'll Actually Be Doing

  • Processing transactional tasks for the medical staff, like screenings, vaccinations, immunizations, and patient triage
  • Administering a range of medical tests including PFT, audiology, vision, and vital signs
  • Handling some medical transcription duties
  • Keeping patient records accurate and up to date in the electronic medical record system
  • Working independently to get the day to day objectives done, but also coordinating with other medical staff and internal or customer team members as needed

What You Need to Bring

  • An Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (ADN or BSN)
  • An active Registered Nurse license to work in Virginia or a compact license state
  • 5 years of clinical experience under your belt
  • Passing the NCLEX RN
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications
  • Solid experience working in an Occupational Health setting
  • You must be a U.S. Citizen
  • You must either have or be able to obtain a TS/SCI clearance with polygraph
  • You should be comfortable reading, writing, and analyzing medical charts
  • Good verbal communication skills are important here
  • You pay attention to the details ; it matters in this role

They handle over 2 million appointments each year, specializing in disability focused exams, occupational health, diagnostic testing, and case management. They work closely with government and non government customers, with a focus on serving rural communities.
