You're a CDL A driver. You know the road, and you know what you want out of it: reliable miles, good pay, and a life outside the cab.

That's what we're building here at Boyd Bros. We're under new management, and the focus is on what drivers actually care about. Better planning on routes so you can run smarter. More options on lanes so you can earn more. And a schedule that gets you home every single weekend.

You'll be hauling flatbed freight. But it's not all hands on; about 40% of our loads are drop and hook, and another 40% don't need tarping. The idea is to keep you moving, not constantly securing cargo.

Run over the road routes with a schedule designed to get you home every weekend.
Handle flatbed freight, with a significant portion being less labor intensive loads.

The pay and perks

The money matters. Here’s how it breaks down.

There's a $1,200 weekly minimum when you run 1,800 miles or more. Most drivers see $1,400 to $2,200 each week.
Top performers can earn up to $90,000 in a year.
Start with a $1,500 sign on bonus. Finish orientation and get another $1,100 on top of that.
If flatbed is new for you? No sweat. Your first two weeks include paid training in Birmingham and time with an instructor on the road. You'll earn $2,000 just during that onboarding period while you learn.

What we need from you

A valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL A).
At least 12 months of verifiable over the road experience driving tractor trailers.
You must be 22 years of age or older.
