The Role

Air Evac Lifeteam is hiring a Pilot for Memphis, TN. This isn't a float position ; it's a permanent assignment at one location, and you'll get to pick which open location fits you best. We run Visual Flight Rules (VFR) operations here.

What You'll Actually Do

You make sure every flight complies with Federal Aviation Regulations, the Air Evac EMS Operations Manual, and local rules. You fly the aircraft safely and efficiently, sticking to the Rotorcraft Flight Manual. Before your shift starts ; or before any transport or flight ; you preflight the aircraft using that manual. If you find something wrong during preflight, you log it in the engineering log and tell maintenance what's up and what we're doing about it.

You keep an eye on weather forecasts and current conditions. You show up for your shift rested and ready to work.

What You Need to Bring

2000 hours total flight time
1500 hours helicopter time
1000 hours helicopter pilot in command
500 hours turbine experience
100 hours night unaided, or 50 hours unaided plus 100 hours aided
A Rotorcraft Helicopter Commercial Certificate
A Rotorcraft Helicopter Instrument Rating
A high school diploma or equivalent
A weight limit of 230 pounds dressed in flight suit and boots ; that's real, not negotiable
Previous HAA experience is preferred but not required

The Schedule & Pay

The starting salary range is $87,019 to $95,720. Depending on location, you can get up to a 30% geographic modifier on top of that. Most locations run on a 7 days on / 7 days off schedule. On duty housing is provided at all locations.
