Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) - $4,000 Sign On Bonus

Sigma Health Rehab is looking for a Physical Therapy Assistant to work full time at a Skilled Nursing Facility in Manhattan, NY. We're offering a $4,000 sign on bonus for this position. It's a straightforward role with real substance ; you'll work alongside a team of skilled therapists who actually care about what they do.

What you'll do

• Follow the plan of care set out by the supervising physical therapist
• Measure and record each resident's motor function, strength, and muscle performance
• Observe and document how residents perform during treatment sessions
• Treat residents using techniques like stretching and massage, and help them carry out specific exercises
• Keep resident information confidential
• Comply with federal, state, and local legal and professional requirements
• Maintain a cooperative relationship with the healthcare team

What you need

You must be a graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant Program. You also need a current New York State Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) License. If you don't have your license yet but graduated from an approved PTA program and are actively working toward licensure, we'd still like to hear from you.

Experience in a skilled nursing or geriatric care setting is preferred. But you're a new grad with relevant fieldwork experience? Please apply.
