About This Role

Alright, let's talk about this job. I'm helping a hospitality group here in Manhattan, NY find someone to run marketing for their two event venues. They're established places, and they need a leader who can get their hands dirty. This isn't a remote gig; you'll be on site, in the mix at live events, making things happen. Your ideas will directly shape how people see these brands and book their events.

What You'll Be Doing

You're the one steering the ship for all things marketing across both venues. That means building plans from scratch and then making them real.

  • Craft and run the marketing strategy to bring in qualified leads and boost brand awareness.
  • Take charge of all digital ad campaigns, mainly on Facebook and Google Ads, managing budgets and optimizing for performance.
  • Lead our SEO work to get our websites found more easily in local searches.
  • You own our social media presence; Instagram, Facebook, TikTok; creating monthly content calendars and posting daily.
  • A big part of the role is being on site during weddings and other events to film content, both short clips and longer features.
  • You'll also promote our podcast series and other digital content across all our channels.
  • Tracking everything is key. You'll analyze campaign data, report on ROI, and show how your work translates to sales.
  • Finally, you're partnering closely with our sales and operations teams to make sure marketing efforts line up perfectly with what's happening on the event calendar.

The Experience You Need

We need someone who's done this before and can jump right in. The specifics matter here.

  • You've got 3 to 7 years (or more) under your belt in digital, social media, or content marketing.
  • A background in hospitality is a major plus; think catering companies, event venues, or similar spaces.
  • Show us you know how to run paid campaigns effectively on Meta and Google platforms.
  • A solid grasp of SEO principles, local search strategy, and keyword research is required.
  • Hands on experience managing business accounts on Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok is non negotiable.
  • You're comfortable creating content yourself and filming during live events as they happen.
  • We need you to be proficient with managing a marketing budget, tracking performance metrics, calculating ROI… the whole analytics piece.
  • The role demands strong communication skills; both written copywriting and general organization are crucial.
  • The schedule follows the events. You must be willing to work weekends or evenings when needed for venue activities or content capture. Having reliable transportation is preferred for getting to our locations in Manhattan, NY.
