The Role at a Glance
Constellation's Culinary Group needs an experienced district manager in Manhattan, NY, NY. You'll handle multiple accounts within our professional dining division.
You've got to live within a commutable distance to NYC. We're looking for someone who's already managed a portfolio of professional dining clients. High touch, high level client experience isn't optional ; it's required. This is a Monday through Friday gig, and you'll need to travel to DC and CT sometimes.
What You'll Do
- Manage accounts within a school district to make sure everything aligns with client, company, and government standards.
- Handle planning, budget analysis, and reporting for the district.
- Ensure policies, procedures, and guidelines are applied consistently across the board.
- Audit units to confirm they meet company, government, and accrediting agency standards, regulations, and codes for food storage, preparation, sanitation, and record keeping.
- Provide guidance and leadership to food service directors, area managers, and other district associates.
- Do the overall planning and direction for your district to hit operational and financial goals.
- Attend district meetings.
What You Need
Must haves:
- A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- At least five years of management experience.
- Leadership, communication, and organizational skills that actually show up in the work.
- Financial and business acumen.
- Excellent computer skills and the ability to pick up new software quickly.
- Intermediate skill and knowledge with Microsoft Excel.
- A food safety certification through ServSafe and local health authorities.
Nice to haves:
- Experience in foodservice within a specific segment.
- Contract management experience.
- At least three years working with multiple units and multiple clients in a high volume setting.
Compensation and Benefits
The base pay range is $130,000 to $150,000, plus a 20% bonus.
