Amsterdam Nursing Home runs an Adult Day Care Program, and we're hiring a Spanish speaking CNA in Manhattan, NY. It's a Monday through Friday schedule, 7:30 AM to 2:00 PM. This isn't a nursing home position ; it's day care for adults, so your focus is on keeping folks engaged and safe.
What You'll Actually Do
- Help residents take part in activities and the daily programming we run
- Report any health issues you notice to the supervising nurse
- Set up meal trays and keep track of what residents eat and drink
- Feed residents and serve nutritional supplements
- Transport residents around the facility
- Keep all resident and facility data confidential
What You Need
- Successful completion of a CNA program
- A current CNA State Certification for New York
- Good standing with the State Registry
- You're bilingual ; English and Spanish
- You can work as part of a team
