The Role
This is an Associate Chief Medical Officer position with the global leader in LGBTQ+ healthcare. You'll report directly to the Chief Medical Officer and sit on the executive leadership team. Your work will shape clinical strategy across the organization, from day to day operations to long term program development.
What You'll Do
- Oversee patient care delivery to ensure it stays evidence based, patient centered, and high quality
- Work with the CMO and other executives to build and execute strategic plans
- Develop clinical programs that improve outcomes and make the patient experience better
- Keep everything compliant with local, state, and federal regulations
- Help recruit, develop, and retain top tier medical staff
- Push a culture of continuous improvement ; think innovation and operational excellence
- Represent the organization externally and build relationships across the healthcare community
- Contribute to budgeting for clinical operations every year
- Review patient satisfaction data, clinical outcomes, and operational metrics regularly; then use that data to find what needs fixing
- Provide clinical leadership during major clinical events, crisis situations, or public health emergencies
What You Need
- A Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree from an accredited school
- Board Certification in Primary Care or a related specialty
- At least five years of leadership experience in a healthcare setting
- A real track record of improving patient outcomes and enhancing how patients experience care
- Experience with strategic planning ; you've developed and launched clinical programs before
- Solid knowledge of healthcare regulations and medical guidelines ; you know what compliance looks like in practice
- The ability to lead teams effectively; you can inspire people without relying on authority alone
- Strong analytical skills; you're comfortable using data to guide decisions rather than gut feelings alone
The Offerings Beyond Salary: $325k - $350k per year
