The compensation part

Let's talk money. Your first year compensation is guaranteed at $70,000. On top of that there's upside from quick start sales results. You get a base salary plus uncapped commission. There are also sales contests and trips thrown in. So the earning potential is real.

You'll work a defined geographic territory in Madison, WI with thousands of prospects already mapped out. We provide qualified leads and you can self generate more. That mix means your commission opportunities are significant.

What you'll actually do

  • Build relationships in Madison, WI. You're the face of Per Mar out there, establishing and nurturing connections with people who live and work in your territory.
  • Generate new business through networking, cold calling, prospecting, customer referrals, leads, community involvement ; anything that works.
  • Hit weekly, monthly, and annual sales goals. That's the revenue part.
  • Keep serving your customers after they sign on. Set up calls and meetings throughout the year to check in on satisfaction and uncover new opportunities.
  • Stay engaged with the team: attend sales meetings and training programs, plus get involved in local community events.

The training part

We don't throw you to the wolves. Paid training happens right away ; deep dives into industry knowledge, technical stuff, and sales skills. And it doesn't stop there; continuing education and resources are always available so you can keep getting better.

What we need from you

  • A valid driver's license paired with a good driving record
  • The ability to obtain whatever license(s) your state requires for security industry work (rules vary by state)
  • A high school diploma or GED ; though a bachelor's degree from a four year college is preferred if you've got one
  • Selling experience can be helpful but isn't required at all
