What you'll do day to day

You'll be the LPN on a specific unit at Franciscan Health Care Center in Louisville, KY. Every shift you'll visit each resident to check their physical and emotional state. When something changes, you tell the charge nurse, the physician, or the Director of Nursing. That's the job.

You'll also spot problems and emergencies. If a doctor isn't around, you're the one starting lifesaving measures. You'll provide holistic care within your LPN license scope. And you'll keep an eye on medication and supply inventory so nothing runs out when a resident needs it.

Administrative work is part of it too ; completing medical forms, reports, evaluations, studies, and charting. If you're exposed to blood, body fluids, infectious materials, or hazardous chemicals, you'll report it according to facility policy. That's not a maybe; it's required.

What you need to qualify

• A current, valid LPN license in the state where you'll work
• Current, valid CPR certification
