Director of Nursing

The Role

This is a Director of Nursing position with Trilogy at Franciscan Health Care Center in Louisville, KY. You'll support the Director of Nursing by planning, organizing, and overseeing the daily functions of the Nursing Service Department. It's about making sure everything runs according to federal, state, and local standards ; and that care stays high quality. You'll take direction from the Executive Director, Medical Director, or Director of Health Services.

What You'll Actually Do

• Work with the DON to select, retain, develop, and lead the clinical team.
• Coordinate nursing and ancillary services with other department leaders to keep residents' total care plan on track.
• Help implement the clinical staffing model and handle administrative tasks ; medical forms, reports, audits, evaluations, charting, that kind of thing.
• Take part in building and maintaining the company's Quality Assurance Performance Improvement (QAPI) program.
• Get ready for facility surveys and accreditation programs from regulatory agencies and the company.

What You Need

• An Associate degree or advanced degree in Nursing.
• 0 1 years of relevant experience ; but that's preferred, not required.
• A current, valid state RN license ; that's required.
• A current, valid CPR certification ; also required.
