About This Role
Alright, let's talk about this job. It's for a Customer Service Supervisor at a Wawa in Louisville, KY. I've been placing people here for years, and the good ones tend to stick around. This isn't just about running a shift; it's about being the person who keeps everything moving smoothly when the store leaders aren't on the floor.
What you'd be doing
You're the go to leader during your shift. You'll work directly with other supervisors and the store management team to handle the day to day.
- Your main focus is customer service. You solve problems, answer questions, and make sure people leave happy.
- You help hit the store's targets. We're talking sales, controlling expenses, keeping good staff, and training new folks.
- A big part of your day is leading the team on your shift. You motivate them, train them on the spot, and keep performance up.
- You make sure all our customer service programs and store tech are being used right, every time.
- Then there's the operational stuff: handling cash procedures, managing inventory, checking in vendors, and keeping an eye on safety.
- You'll do regular cycle counts and place smart orders so the shelves stay full and we don't miss a sale.
The details we need from you
Let's be straight about what's required to get in the door.
- You need a High School Diploma or GED.
- Must be at least 18 years old with reliable transportation.
- The schedule isn't always 9 to 5. You need open availability for different shifts, including weekends and holidays, to cover business needs.
- If you've supervised before, especially in retail or food service, that's a definite advantage.
- And you have to be good with people; building relationships with customers and communicating clearly with your team is everything here.
The pay & schedule perk
The pay range for this role is $21.00 to $23.60 an hour. That figure is based on position, experience, and location.
If you work any hours between midnight and 6am, you get an extra $2.00 per hour shift differential on top of your base rate.
Here's something interesting: once you're in this role, there's an option to move to a 4 day work week schedule. It gives you more time back for life outside of work if that balance is important to you.
Benefits at a glance
The benefits package is pretty comprehensive. It includes:
