Veterinary Technician

The Role

South Shores Pet Clinic in Los Angeles, CA is looking for a Veterinary Technician who's been doing this long enough to handle real responsibility. You'll be the person running anesthesia and surgical support, not just assisting. This is a full time position with a 5 day, 8 hour schedule, Monday through Saturday. Saturdays are 8 to 3, and they rotate so you're not stuck on every single one.

What You'll Actually Do

You're here to handle the tough stuff during procedures. That means:

• Anesthesia monitoring from start to finish ; induction, maintenance, recovery
• Patient prep and recovery for surgeries and dental procedures
• Performing dental cleanings and taking dental radiographs
• Keeping the hospital moving by anticipating what the doctors and team need next
• Coordinating procedural schedules so patients flow through each stage of care without chaos
• Talking to clients about treatment plans, answering their questions, and giving discharge instructions with real empathy. Not scripts.

Who You Are

You've been in a clinic for at least 2 years. You know your way around anesthesia monitors and dental x rays. You don't need someone to hold your hand ; you see what needs to be done and you do it. You're licensed as a Veterinary Technician in California. And you genuinely like being part of a team that's been together for over three decades. That's not nothing.

Minimum Qualifications

• 2+ years of veterinary experience in a clinical setting
• Current Veterinary Technician License in the state of California
• Proficiency in anesthesia monitoring
• Proficiency in dental skills and taking dental radiographs

Compensation and Benefits
