Travel Nurse

About the Job

This is a travel nursing contract in Los Angeles, CA for Adventist Health. It's a 13 week assignment starting April 13, 2026.

The schedule is three 12 hour day shifts per week. You need to be ready to float to other units and locations within the Adventist Health system, up to about 30 miles away.

What You'll Be Doing

You're providing acute care nursing. That's the core of it.

• You'll use Cerner for your documentation.
• Floating is part of the deal here; they need someone flexible who can support different units as needed.
• A typical week is three shifts, but you have a maximum of three days off that you can request for the entire contract period.

What You Need to Have

Let's get into the specifics. All of this is required for us to submit your profile.

• A current, active California Registered Nurse license.
• At least two years of recent RN experience, with some of it within the last year. All that experience needs to be in an acute care setting.
• Your BLS and ACLS certifications must be current.
• We need two professional references from the past two years. One has to be from a manager or supervisor.
• A driver's license is required.
• The hospital requires a Fire and Life Safety credential (HLFS).
• You'll need a flu shot after you're submitted, though religious or medical exemptions are accepted.

A Bachelor of Science in Nursing is preferred, but not a strict requirement if your experience is solid.
