The Gig

Clarvida is looking for a Senior Outpatient Therapist I to work out of New Kensington, Pennsylvania. This is a full time gig with a salary between $51,450 and $53,900. You'd be doing individual, family, and group therapy based on what each person's treatment plan calls for.

You'd also help the rest of the outpatient team hold things together. That means jumping in when cases get complicated or risky, and making sure the care is holistic and actually centered on the person. Not just checking boxes.

What You'll Actually Do

• Run individual, family, and group therapy sessions that follow the consumer's treatment plan
• Write up individualized treatment plans that meet county, state, and federal rules
• Put together transition and discharge plans based on how treatment is going and what the person wants to achieve
• Show up to team meetings, supervision, evaluations, and any trainings they ask you to attend
• Do psychosocial assessments at intake and at the intervals they're due
• Complete standardized and outcome based assessments per the program's guidelines
• Check how well treatment is working by regularly reviewing the treatment plan
• Work with the other people on the multidisciplinary team to keep the care person centered and whole
• Offer clinical support, mentoring, and training to the outpatient therapists on the team
• Help other staff by consulting on treatment approaches and clinical cases
• Handle crisis situations and emergencies, including mandated reporting and risk interventions
• Carry your own caseload and hit the scheduled service delivery expectations
• Keep developing professionally through supervision, meetings, and training
• Treat consumers, families, and coworkers with professionalism and respect
• Take on extra duties as needed to help the organization run

What You Need

• A Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related clinical field from an accredited school
• A completed clinical practicum that has been verified
• At least 1 year of experience in a mental health setting, the CASSP system, or a licensed mental health agency
• Active participation in clinical supervision working toward licensure (LPC, LCSW, or LMFT)
• Experience with behavioral modification techniques
• Solid skills with psychosocial assessments and clinical documentation
• Good organizational, communication, and critical thinking chops
• The ability to handle crisis situations and make sound clinical calls under pressure
• Comfort using electronic health record systems
