The Role
We're hiring a Telemetry RN for Los Angeles, CA. This is a full time position, 12 hour shifts. Here's what the day to day looks like.
What You'll Do
- Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms for assigned patients
- Administer medications and IV therapies as ordered
- Perform regular patient assessments and document findings
- Respond to changes in patient condition and escalate appropriately
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to adjust treatment plans
- Educate patients and their families on cardiac care and recovery
- Maintain accurate electronic health records
What You Need
- A valid California RN license
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
- ACLS certification
- At least 1 year of recent acute care experience in telemetry or a related med surg/telemetry unit
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program
Preferred
- A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- NIHSS certification
- Experience with cardiac monitoring and rhythm interpretation
Pay & Benefits
Pay range is $54.00 to $85.00 per hour, depending on experience. Beyond that, you get medical, dental, and vision insurance starting day one. There's a 403(b) retirement plan with employer matching. You'll also receive paid time off, holiday pay, and sick leave.
Schedule
Full time, 12 hour shifts. Night shifts available. You'll work three shifts per week, with rotating weekends and holidays included in the rotation.
