The Job
Powerback Rehabilitation needs a Speech Language Pathologist for a role in Los Angeles, CA. We focus on restoring patients' power through speech, swallowing, and communication. You'll design individualized treatment plans and deliver therapy to help people regain independence. This work can happen in skilled nursing centers, assisted living facilities, outpatient clinics, or home based care ; it depends on where the patient is. What doesn't change is your mission: reduce or resolve disorders or deficits so people can thrive.
What You'll Actually Do
- Take full ownership of delivering effective and efficient rehab services for every patient on your caseload.
- Create and execute treatment plans that restore, reinforce, and enhance each patient's speech and communication abilities.
- Adapt your approach to meet the unique needs of each individual while working across different settings throughout your day.
- Clean equipment as needed, attend meetings, and keep moving through a variety of tasks that shift from one moment to the next.
- Collaborate with peers when you need support ; but also make referrals to outside providers when that's what helps patients get the best care.
- Train both patients and their caregivers on the skills needed for long term independence and productivity at home.

What You Need
- A Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology, Communication Disorders, Communicative Disorders or another name consistent with ASHA requirements.
- A license or certification (or credential) as required by the state where Los Angeles, CA is located.
The Pay
$38.00 per hour. That's it ; no range games here.
